Norli's Angel Maya

Finally, I have another deviation up. ^-^v Again it's another line art coloring, only this time it's with a new friend that I recently met on DA, She's really cool and extremely talented. When I asked if I could color this beautiful lineart of Angel Maya, I nor Norli knew that it would be a daily Deviation. But once it was, it put a lot of added pressure on me to not mess this up. I think I may have though , so I'm extremely sorry if this came out badly. m(_ _)m I really tried my best to make the colors and theme work.

The theme to this one is Night and Yin and Yang. Norli's original had a nice warm feeling to it, so when I was thinking of coloring this work, my best friend suggested that I do a night scene with a moon instead. Kind of like yin and yang sisters. I looked at the colored version again and saw that what Maya was holding up indeed looked like a sun, so there you have it, a night color scheme. I flipped the original line art and flipped the words on the wings letter by letter.

Anyway, C&C is most welcome because it's the first time I colored with blue as a skin tone. Now that I've said everything and talked your ear off again I think I'm going to . This really was the toughest coloring that I have ever done, I really hope I did this right. (<-- I say this all the time don't I. )
