Kurushii no Me

I worked vigorously for five days straight. Thank God I made the deadline with plenty of time to spare.

This is my version of Sei for 's Sei Contest. At first I didn't this that I was going to be able to enter and honestly wasn't thinking about entering at all. If anything I thought that my submission would be down right hideous. But on Sunday I really buckled down and made myself come up with something. So here it is.

Title: Kurushii no Me. This is Japanese for "Painful Eyes". That's what I felt when I looked at Sei's character discription and drawings.

Concept: Because of his personality and the way that the people around him treat Sei, I felt that I needed to show him isolated somehow. I figured show him diappearing. So I didn't finish the bottom left half of the kimono nor his shoulders for this reason. So yes I did this on purpose.

Kimono: I used a lot of ideas from Kagrra (Japanese Rock Band who I really really love) and traditional kimonos from Google searches. Most of the design came from Ishi.

Smoke: This came from the cover of Clamp's XXX Holic.

That's about it. C & C is always welcome and I am so sorry if this did not come out like Sei Washuuchan. I really tried my best.
